Kevin Costner and his spouse, Christine Baumgartner, have successfully reached a divorce settlement, thereby avoiding the need for a trial.

Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner have reached a mutually agreeable resolution to their divorce, thereby bringing an end to a protracted and acrimonious legal dispute, as well as resolving any lingering issues pertaining to child support.
Kevin Costner and his spouse, Christine Baumgartner, have successfully reached a settlement in their divorce proceedings after nearly 19 years of marriage. In a joint statement issued by the actor’s publicist, Arnold Robinson, the couple expressed their satisfaction with the amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all matters related to their divorce. This agreement effectively puts an end to the previously contentious court battle and spares the couple from a scheduled trial in December at a court in Santa Barbara County, California. It is worth noting that Baumgartner initiated the divorce proceedings by filing in May.
The two individuals had previously engaged in a legal dispute regarding the matter of child support payments. Following a comprehensive two-day hearing, during which both Costner, aged 68, and Baumgartner, aged 49, provided testimonies, a judge issued a ruling on September 8th. As per the report from People, Costner was directed to make monthly payments of approximately $63,000 to support their three children. It is worth noting that Baumgartner had initially requested a monthly sum of around $175,000.
In 1998, Costner and Baumgartner commenced a romantic relationship, with the latter being a designer of handbags and a model. They subsequently tied the knot in 2004 at Costner’s ranch located in Colorado.
