Josh Jacobs, the running back for the Raiders, will not be participating in the Christmas Day game against the Chiefs due to his quad injury and illness

Josh Jacobs will not be able to return in time for Christmas. According to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero, Jacobs will be absent for the Las Vegas Raiders’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday. This will be his second consecutive game missed due to a quad injury and an illness. The Raiders have officially declared Jacobs as inactive for the game. In his absence, the Raiders had an impressive victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, but it would be unrealistic to expect a similar performance against the Chiefs. Prior to his injury, Jacobs was a key player in the Raiders’ rushing attack, with a significant lead in rushing yards compared to the rest of the team. However, the team managed to perform well in the rushing game against the Chargers, with Zamir White leading the ground game with 69 yards on 17 carries.
