Nelly, 48, has confirmed that he and his long-estranged former flame, Ashanti, 42, have rekindled their romance. In an interview on “Boss Moves with Rasheeda,” Nelly expressed surprise at their reunion, saying it wasn’t something that had been planned. The couple dated on and off from 2003 to 2013, but the possibility of them getting back together seemed unlikely after Ashanti mentioned feeling “betrayed” by Nelly on The Meredith Vieira Show in 2015.
