Ayodhya witnesses global celebrations during the Pran Pratishtha ceremony….

The world is getting ready for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya on January 22, with massive billboards, car rallies, and ‘Ramayana path’ in temples. In Paris, a ‘Ram Rath Yatra’ will take place, while temples in Mauritius will be adorned with illuminated ‘diyas’.

Preparations are underway worldwide for the highly anticipated day of January 22, which marks the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of Lord Ram’s idol in the Ram Temple located in Ayodhya. The Hindu communities around the globe are filled with immense excitement and unwavering devotion as they eagerly await this significant event.

During the day of consecration, the ceremony will be televised live at around 300 venues across the United States, including the renowned Times Square in New York. Additionally, preparations are underway at Paris’s Eiffel Tower to commemorate the occasion of ‘Pran Pratishtha’.

In the United States, there are plans for large-scale car rallies in cities, while temples are organizing week-long celebrations. In France, preparations are underway for a Grand Rath Yatra. Furthermore, the event will be broadcast on a large scale in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and Mauritius.

Mauritius, with approximately 48 percent Hindus, has also granted a two-hour break to Hindu officials on January 22, the day of the Ram Temple inauguration.

The global celebration of this historic event is gaining significant momentum.

Mauritius will illuminate the Ram Mandir inauguration with ‘diyas’. High Commissioner Haymandoyal Dillum has exciting plans for the Mauritian community.

Mauritians are preparing to light ‘diyas’ (earthen lamps) in all the temples of the island nation. Verses from the Ramayan will resonate through the temple corridors with the recitation of the ‘Ramayan Path’.

“In each temple, one ‘diya’ will be lit, and the ‘Ramayan Path’ will be recited throughout the day,” High Commissioner Dillum informed news agency ANI.

Dillum shared that this consecration ceremony is not only significant for India but also holds great importance for the people of Mauritius.

The Mauritian government has also granted a two-hour special break for Hindu government officers on January 22.

Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth’s decision allows the Hindu community to actively participate in local events commemorating the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya.

Ghoorbin Bhojraj, President of Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation, stated that a cultural program will precede the Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s inauguration, with Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth as the chief guest.

“Throughout Mauritius, all our Hindu brothers and sisters are in a celebratory mood these days. Starting from Makar Sankranti on January 15, all our temples will hold the chanting of verses from the Ramayana. On January 22, when Lord Ram will be enthroned at the grand temple in Ayodhya, we will celebrate similar to Diwali. The Festival of Lights will be celebrated twice this year, during Diwali and the Ram Mandir inauguration,” The US chapter of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has installed more than 40 billboards across 10 states, such as Texas, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and Georgia.

The celebration of Lord Ram extends to both Arizona and the State of Missouri, joining the festivities that began on January 15.

In New Jersey, Lord Ram devotees have organized a magnificent car rally, with at least 350 cars adorned with flags displaying images of Lord Ram.

The Tesla Car musical show in Washington DC has also garnered attention. More than 100 Tesla-owning Ram Bhaktas gathered at the Shri Bhaktha Anjaneya Temple in Maryland, transforming the parking lot into a divine stage.

Synchronized with a popular Ram bhajan, their Teslas created a captivating symphony of light and music.

Drone footage captured the breathtaking scene, showcasing the Teslas arranged in the formation of the word “RAM.”

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHP America), the driving force behind the Ram temple celebrations in the US, not only organized the mesmerizing Tesla show but also car rallies in 21 cities across the nation.

From Atlanta to Seattle, Houston to Boston, devotees honked their horns, waved saffron flags, and sang bhajans dedicated to Lord Ram.

FRANCE PREPARES FOR ‘GRAND RATH YATRA’

Paris, France, is preparing to host the Ram Rath Yatra and puja, an extraordinary event taking place 24 hours before the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ in India. The ‘Ram Rath Yatra’ is scheduled to begin at 12 pm from Place De La Chapelle and conclude at the iconic Eiffel Tower’s location, Place De Trocadero, by 3 pm.

The yatra is scheduled to commence at 10.30 am, starting with prayers and the ‘Vishwa Kalyan Yagna’ at a Ganesha temple in La Chapelle. The ceremony will encompass an elaborate puja, aarti, prasad distribution, and a cultural show.

Following that, the procession will pass through significant landmarks including the renowned Arc de Triomphe, the Musée de Louver, Place De La Republique, and ultimately culminate at Place De Trocadero.

CANADA TOWNS OBSERVE ‘RAM MANDIR DAY’

The towns of Oakville and Brampton in Ontario, Canada, have officially declared January 22, 2024 as ‘Ayodhya Ram Mandir Day’.

Mayors Patrick Brown of Brampton and Rob Burton of Oakville expressed that the inauguration of the temple in Ayodhya holds immense cultural, religious, and historical significance for Hindus worldwide, symbolizing the realization of a dream that dates back centuries.

Both mayors have urged the residents of their respective towns to partake in the celebration of this momentous occasion, marking the opening of the temple in Ayodhya.
