Netflix has just released the highly anticipated teaser trailer for ‘My Name Is Loh Kiwan’. This film delves into the difficult life of a North Korean defector who finds himself in Belgium. Portrayed by the talented Song Joong-ki, the lead character embarks on a challenging journey filled with hardships. Based on a novel by Cho Hae-jin and directed by Kim Hee-jin, this gripping film is set to be globally released on Netflix on March 1. In the teaser, we catch a glimpse of Loh Kiwan as he confronts the harsh realities of his new life in Belgium, having escaped from North Korea. The story revolves around this 20-year-old young man from the North Hamgyong Province and a determined broadcaster who tirelessly tracks his every move.

Despite his best efforts, the Belgian court has denied him refugee status, causing him great distress. Throughout this challenging experience, he crosses paths with a woman named Mari, skillfully portrayed by Choi Sung Eun. Under the direction of Kim Hee-jin, ‘My Name is Loh Kiwan’ is scheduled for a global release on Netflix on March 1. The talented cast also includes Cho Han-cheul, Kim Sung-roung, Lee Il-hwa, Lee Sang-hee, and Seo Hyun-woo.
