Ather Energy, the electric two-wheeler manufacturer based in Bengaluru, is fully prepared to launch its new flagship electric scooter in the Indian market tomorrow. It has been named Ather 450 Apex and will be sold in limited quantities.

The e-scooter is currently accepting bookings at a token amount of INR 2,500, and the delivery will commence in March 2024. Ather 450 Apex will be crafted in a special paint scheme, which will not be used on the standard 450X.

The electric scooter will come with a new Warp+ riding mode, which is expected to replace the Warp mode and is currently available on the 450X. The 450 Apex Ether lineup will feature the fastest electric scooter.

The Ather 450 Apex has a top speed higher than the 450X, which can reach a speed of 90 kilometers per hour. This electric scooter will also come with multi-level brake regeneration, allowing the rider to use less brake. Instead, they will be able to modulate the throttle and activate the scooter’s brake regeneration.

The current price of the 450X’s 3.7 kWh battery pack is 1.45 lakh rupees ex-showroom. It is expected that the ex-showroom price of the 450 Apex will range from 1.60 lakh to 1.70 lakh rupees.

What’s special about the Ather 450 Apex? Ather Energy has not disclosed whether they will make changes to the electric motor and battery pack or not. The 7-inch digital touchscreen instrument cluster will be enhanced. However, it is likely to receive a different theme. The instrument cluster supports Bluetooth and also comes with live-traffic navigation and Google Maps. It also features an application, hill hold control, and phone call and music control.
