Unesco unveils new World Heritage sites for 2023

Unesco has added 42 new destinations and five extensions to its list of World Heritage sites in 2023, showcasing natural treasures and human ingenuity across five continents. The final list, announced on September 25, now includes 1199 sites across 168 countries.
