Varun Dhawan utilized his Instagram Stories platform to inform his followers about an unfortunate incident where he encountered an injury to his leg by accidentally colliding with an iron rod.
Varun Dhawan is presently engaged in the production of his forthcoming movie under the direction of Atlee. The film, which is currently referred to as VD18, is scheduled to be released in the upcoming year. On Sunday, the actor utilized his Instagram Stories to provide an update regarding a leg injury he encountered while filming. He posted an image of his injured leg and disclosed that he accidentally collided with an iron rod.
Varun shares an image of his injured leg, showcasing its swollen state with visible red marks. The leg is positioned on a chair, as depicted in the picture. Alongside the image, Varun includes a caption that reads, “My shin is swollen after accidentally hitting it on an iron rod.” To convey his discomfort, he adds a crying emoticon to the caption.
The actor has encountered injuries during the project on multiple occasions. In September, Varun took to his Instagram Stories to address his previous injury. He shared a video where he can be seen soothing his pain by immersing his foot in ice water. Expressing his confusion about how the injury occurred, he stated, “I believe I hurt my leg while shooting, although I’m unsure. Nonetheless, this is my current remedy.”
In a previous interaction with Pinkvilla, Varun discussed the film and described it as a mass-action entertainer. He expressed his love for the entertainment factor in the film and stated that he will give it his all. Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi will also be starring in this action-entertainer.
Recently, Varun made an appearance on the latest season of the celebrity talk show Koffee with Karan, alongside his Student of the Year co-star Sidharth Malhotra. He also had a cameo appearance in the song Heartthrob in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. Varun’s last film was Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal, where he starred opposite Janhvi Kapoor. The film was released on Prime Video on July 21. He is also lined up for the Indian installment of Citadel, directed by Raj and DK.
