Amitabh Bachchan’s 300 memorabilia is set to be auctioned in anticipation of his 81st birthday.

Bollywood’s emperor, Amitabh Bachchan, will be honored with an auction of over 300 memorabilia on October 11 before his 81st birthday.

Bollywood’s Amitabh Bachchan will be honored with ‘Bachchanalia’, an auction of over 300 memorabilia, on October 5-7, in honor of his 55-year career and contributions to the film industry.

The collection includes iconic film posters, photographs, lobby cards, showcards, booklets, and original artworks from his 200+ films, showcasing his transformation from a struggler to a star.

A rare set of two showcards from the 1973 film “Zanjeer” will be auctioned, showcasing the artist’s artistic craftsmanship. The pieces, priced between Rs 8,000 and Rs 100,000, offer a glimpse into the cinematic magic.

Diwakar Karkare designed the “Deewaar” showcard and six first release showcards for Shankar Mukherjee’s “Faraar”, a 1975 thriller and a lilting Kishore Kumar-Lata Mangeshkar duet.

Fans can bid for 15 re-release photographic stills from Ramesh Sippy’s 1975 film “Sholay” and four private photos from Sippy’s exclusive post-release party, showcasing memorable scenes and behind-the-scenes magic.

A rare collection of posters from Bachchan’s iconic films, including “Majboor,” “Mr Natwarlal,” “The Great Gambler,” “Silsila,” “Kaalia,” and “Naseeb,” is up for bids.

A rare studio portrait of Amitabh Bachchan and an exclusive photo-shoot featuring Rajesh Khanna and Bachchan from a film magazine cover story will be auctioned.

deRivaz & Ives is showcasing original artworks of Bollywood star Bachchan, curated by young artists like Safdar Shamee, Sailesh Acharekar, Mithu Biswal, and Anil Soni. The artworks are sourced from various sources, including collectors, dealers, and fans. The company plans to expand its Film Memorabilia Department and enter Hollywood auctions in 2024.
