Indeed, it is the first time that the Indian cricket team has chosen to wear an orange-colored training gear. The team, famously known as the “Men in Blue,” has traditionally sported blue training kits in the past. The decision to switch to orange for their training gear may be a way to incorporate a new look and create a distinct identity for their practice sessions.

Team India has worn a new training kit resembling the Dutch Orange, a color used by the Netherlands football team. This marks the first time India has worn orange training gear, as they previously wore a saffron-shaded t-shirt and navy-blue pants during the 2019 World Cup in England.

Adidas has partnered with India, introducing a black training kit and a blue World Cup kit for the country since June.​
