Bobby Deol’s comeback to the silver screen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has proven to be a triumph at the box office. The actor’s captivating dance sequence to the melodious track Jamal Kudu has specifically garnered immense interest on various social media platforms.

The film ‘Animal’ directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga has received a variety of responses, but its music has been widely appreciated. Alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol’s portrayal in the film has garnered praise from critics, particularly his entry scene where he showcases his dancing skills to the Iranian song ‘Jamal Kudu’. This particular scene has become a popular topic of discussion among the public. During an interview, Bobby disclosed that the viral dance sequence was his own concept.

Bobby Deol, in an interview with Bollywood Spy, expressed his astonishment at the fans’ response to the viral dance. He described it as “crazy” and mentioned how people were even placing glasses on their dogs’ heads and dancing. Furthermore, he shared an interesting incident where someone had worn the exact same suit as him. Bobby Deol admitted that he found it overwhelming to witness such enthusiasm from the fans.

In the film, Bobby portrays the character Abrar Haque. When discussing the scene and the inspiration behind the unique dance move involving a glass on his head, he revealed that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had shared the music with him prior to the shoot. During the filming, Bobby reminisced about his childhood days in Punjab, where dancing with glasses on their heads was a common practice. This nostalgic memory ultimately led to the creation of the now-famous dance move.

The film showcases Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna in significant roles. Additionally, the song ‘Jamal Kudu’ is a modified rendition of the Iranian track ‘Jamaal Jamaaloo’ by Iran’s Khatareh Group. Harshvardhan Rameshwar has recreated this song specifically for the film.
