Prabhas reveals the debut appearance of Prithviraj Sukumaran, his co-star in Salaar, in the upcoming film The Goat Life.


Directed by Blessy, a recipient of the National Award, this Malayalam survival drama has been hailed as ‘the ultimate survival expedition of all time’.
Following a ten-year hiatus since the release of Kalimannu in 2013, acclaimed director Blessy, who has previously won a National Award, is returning to the film industry with his latest Malayalam project, The Goat Life. Prabhas, the renowned actor, recently took to Instagram to unveil the first-look of his co-star, Prithviraj Sukumaran, from their upcoming film Salaar. The makers of The Goat Life have described it as ‘the ultimate survival adventure’ and have emphasized that it is based on a true story.
Excited to reveal the initial glimpse, Prabhas has shared a sneak peek where Prithviraj appears with a rugged look, sporting long hair and a beard. The actor has also undergone weight loss to portray the challenging character. Prabhas expressed his enthusiasm while unveiling the first-look poster of Prithviraj Sir’s #TheGoatLife – a remarkable tale of the unconquerable human spirit! Get ready to embark on this extraordinary survival adventure commencing on April 10th, 2024. Prithviraj graciously thanked him, referring to him as his #Salaar.
During the premiere of the film, Prithviraj expressed, “The Goat Life was undoubtedly a challenging project, and I was well aware of the obstacles I would encounter throughout its production. However, it pushed me to my limits both physically and mentally. I have devoted five years of my life to portraying the character of Najeeb in this film. With multiple physical transformations, my aim was to perfect the appearance and essence of the character.”
The Goat Life features prominent actors such as Jimmy Jean-Louis, Amala Paul, Gokul, Talib al Balushi, and Rik Aby in significant roles. The film’s music has been composed by the Oscar-winning AR Rahman, while the sound design is taken care of by Resul Pookutty, also an Academy Award winner. Shot in various countries, The Goat Life stands as one of the largest projects ever undertaken in Malayalam cinema. The film is set to release on April 10 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages as well.
