ROHIT SHETTY STANDS UP FOR HIS COP UNIVERSE
In a recent interview with Film Companion, Rohit Shetty addressed the criticism surrounding his Cop Universe. He firmly stated, “I am unequivocally opposed to the idea of innocent killings and individuals taking the law into their own hands. However, when faced with a situation where someone is shooting at you, it is only natural to defend oneself.”
It is essential to have a sense of fear within society. I strongly hold this belief, and I am not bothered by any negative comments I may receive for expressing it. I am confident in my thoughts and opinions. While we all consider ourselves to be well-mannered individuals, the reality of life can be vastly different. Just imagine going to work and encountering individuals involved in drug abuse, rape, or even those who have committed heinous crimes. When faced with such individuals, our mindset completely changes. Rohit Shetty further emphasized this point.
Rohit Shetty is eagerly anticipating the launch of his first project on an OTT platform, titled ‘Indian Police Force’. This highly anticipated film features renowned actors Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi in significant roles.
