Hyundai has recently introduced the updated edition of its well-received Creta model, with prices ranging from Rs 11 lakh for the entry-level E petrol-manual variant to Rs 20 lakh for the top-of-the-line SX(O) diesel-automatic version. These prices are introductory and the 2024 Creta facelift offers a total of 19 distinct versions, featuring a variety of five engine and transmission combinations.
The latest version of the Creta comes at a slightly higher price compared to its previous model, with a Rs 13,000 increase for the base variant and Rs 80,000 for the top variant. However, it still maintains its competitive pricing within its segment.
In terms of its exterior, the 2024 Creta has undergone a complete redesign. It now features a larger grille and a revamped lighting setup, which includes LED daytime running lights, sequential indicators, and a light bar positioned above the grille. The main quad-LED headlights have been repositioned lower on the bumper. The rear end has also been updated with a more angular design, showcasing full LED tail lights, a full-width LED light bar, and a new bumper. The only alteration to the side profile is the introduction of new alloy wheels.
The 2024 Creta boasts an updated interior design. The dashboard now showcases a 10.25-inch touchscreen that seamlessly integrates with the Alcazar’s 10.25-inch digital driver display. This display offers three different themes and can even show footage from the blind-view monitor when the indicator is activated. Additionally, the center console has been revamped to include controls for the new dual-zone climate control system. The interior also embraces lighter colors and incorporates stylish copper details.
Moving to the back of the cabin, there are new USB Type-C charging points for added convenience. The boot volume remains unchanged at 433 liters, providing ample storage space.
The Creta continues to impress with its array of features. These include a powered driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, an onboard air purifier, an electronic parking brake, adjustable rear seat backrests, rear seat headrest pillows, and rear sunshades. The tech suite is equally impressive, featuring a 10.25-inch digital display, a touchscreen that supports 12 regional languages, a new 360-degree camera, and an exceptional Bose sound system. Furthermore, the car offers connected tech capabilities, such as the new Jio Saavn music streaming app and the ability to remotely monitor your vehicle through the eSIM-based setup.
