OMG 2 director Amit Rai expressed uncertainty about Netflix’s apprehensions and discussions with the CBFC regarding the film. He questioned if the streaming platform will show the same version as the Censor Board.
Amit Rai criticised the censor board for hypocrisy, citing Kartik Aaryan’s ad and Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani as examples. He criticized the censor board’s decision to cut a condom ad from the film, OMG 2.
Despite the controversy surrounding its release, OMG 2 is scheduled to begin streaming on Netflix on October 8.
